The Mothball, now in its 35th amazing year, began as a neighborhood potluck started by Grant Park homeowners who opened their homes to visitors during the annual Tour of Homes.

As the Tour evolved, so did the potluck. In time, the Mothball moved to the Ford Pavilion at Zoo Atlanta and grew into a party drawing people from all over Atlanta. The Mothball took its name as a parody of Inman Park's prestigious formal Butterfly Ball, and has remained on Saturday evening during the Tour of Homes weekend.

After years of growing attendance, the Mothball evolved into a fundraiser designated for community improvement. The proceeds from the MothBall's silent auction will be used on projects in Grant Park, implemented by the Grant Park Conservancy, a registered 501(c)(3) which works to protect and beautify Grant Park and provide enjoyable greenspaces for families, visitors and residents.

Previous themes have included Mardi Gras, Disco 70's, Restoration, Club L.P.'s, a Luau, Shaken Not Stirred: A Night With Bond, Moulin Rouge, Pirates of the Seven Seas and last year's over-the-top, NightFlyers.

We hope that you enjoy this year's theme, TV SitComs and thank you for supporting Grant Park!

Have a wonderful time!
